The correct length of the ARBøyle is crucial for quick and safe rescue from the water. We always recommend measuring the freeboard from the deck down to the waterline to choose the correct ARBøyle. Please contact us if you need assistance finding the right ARBøyle for your vessel.

Frequently Asked Questions

The ARBøyle can be used on most vessel types and maritime installations. It has been supplied to pilot boats, aquaculture service vessels, fishing vessels, passenger vessels, lifeboats, offshore vessels, wellboats, and has also been used in quay and land-based facilities.

The ARBøyle is designed for wide application and can be adapted to different vessel sizes.

The ARBøylen has been developed and tested over several years on, among others, pilot vessels, service vessels and fishing vessels under demanding weather conditions.

In addition, it has been tested in operational use over a five-year period on vessels, confirming functionality in real-world situations.

It is designed for use in sea conditions up to Sea State 5–6

The ARB bar is made from lightweight and robust materials such as:

  • Carbon fibre
  • Dyneema
  • Acid-resistant components

All parts are corrosion-free and withstand marine environments well.

The product is virtually maintenance-free, as the materials are corrosion-free and robust.

Nevertheless, required:

  • Visual inspection before use
  • Annual check-up (approx. every 12 months)
  • Extra check for suspected strain/injury

Minimal maintenance. Follow Chapter 4 of the User Manual for correct maintenance.
